Picture this: you, on your dream island escape, sipping cocktails on your private balcony, watching one of Bali's famous sunsets… Well, you got lucky – because we’re here to help you make this a reality from just AU$1,099.

Yep, a stay at the iconic Potato Head Studios is up for grabs – and we know you’re gonna love it. Decked out with elevated coastal tones, floor-to-ceiling windows and every mod-con you could dream of, these epic, architectural abodes are truly bucket list worthy. Plus, with thoughtful touches at every turn, you can expect biodegradable slippers, a make-your-own cocktail station, and an eco-friendly ‘zero-waste kit’ – and that's before we even mention the iconic beach club, countless wellness experiences and world-famous dining spots…

WHAT YOU’LL LOVE

Set along Petitenget’s iconic stretch of sand – just a stone's throw away from all of the area's hottest attractions, Potato Head Suites and Studios is pretty much everything you could ask for and then some. A trailblazing creative village and beach club thought up by Jakarta-born hotelier and art collector Ronald Akili, this carbon-neutral campus is where you can eat, sleep, create – and of course, party – all in one unique space where sustainability and design lead the way.

Staggeringly stylish and dripping with tropical cool, there’s a whole lot on offer here. Wake up to a morning yoga session, dig into a mouthwatering breakfast, then cover yourself in (complimentary!) coral-conscious sunscreen before settling in for some fun in the sun at the iconic Potato Head Beach Club. Top it off at the breezy beachside bar – complete with an infinity pool looking straight out to the ocean and a 'grammable cocktail or two to sip in the afternoon sunshine.

THE ROOMS

Striking the perfect balance between contemporary design and centuries-old Indonesian traditions, Potato Head Suites and Studios are all about the details – and it shows. Each room has been fitted out with furnishings inspired by renowned designer Max Lamb; we’re talking recycled plastic accessories, volcanic ceramics and hand-dyed fabrics. And, while you’re probably already impressed with the strong focus on sustainability, we’ve hardly scratched the surface. Upon check-in, you’ll be given your very own zero-waste kit with all of the essentials – a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, sanitiser, plus fully biodegradable slippers and cotton robes to lounge around in, too. And that's not including the make-your-own cocktail station and daily top-ups of in-room cookies and chocolates…

FOOD AND DRINK

When hunger strikes, worry not – you can feed your soul at one of six unique bars and restaurants. Immerse yourself in Indonesia’s true culinary culture as you taste flavours from across the archipelago at the locally inspired Kaum; for fresh-from-the-net ocean delicacies, head to Ijen – a fine dining seafood restaurant where nothing goes to waste; or savour seasonal tasting menus filled with experimental plant-based plates at Tanaman. If you’re craving sundowners with a side of sea views, Sunset Park is where to go, or if you’re looking for laid-back coastal bites, head down to Katamama or the iconic beach club. With a strong focus on sustainability and locally sourced ingredients, these creative menus are reason enough to check in for a stay.

ECO EFFORT

These days we’re looking to spend our time off a little more thoughtfully – choosing purposeful escapes that aren’t just good for the soul, but the communities, culture and environment we’re visiting, too. We’re firm believers that actions speak louder than words – and at Potato Head, it’s what they do to create a beautiful, sustainable existence that counts. Their unwavering commitment to sustainability is clear from the get-go: from the materials that form the hotel structure and furniture, the art installations they curate, the programming that involves and supports the community, and their food choices – all of which are closely tied to an aspect of social responsibility.

THE EXTRAS

Of course, when you get the opportunity to stay somewhere with this much wow factor, it’s vital that you live it up. And, while we've already mentioned a lot of Desa Potato Head’s dreamy added extras, the fun doesn’t end there. First off, there’s the iconic beach club – arguably the OG when it comes to Bali beach clubs and a firm favourite for tourists and expats alike; this beachfront gem has gained superstar status thanks to its endless ocean views, tropical vibes, and great music.

Next up is the subterranean spa – and yes, this has won a handful of awards too. They have facials, healing packages and massages – plus extras like acupuncture and IV infusions to help leave you relaxed and rejuvenated. If you’re looking to really get into Potato Head’s groove, opt for a session at the Sanctuary Wellness Centre instead. Here, you can expect beachfront ice baths, mood-lifting breathwork sessions, and ethereal sound therapies with the help of a Hindu High Priest.

If that’s not energetic enough for you, there’s a well-kitted-out gym, daily yoga, a running club, workout classes, and so much more. Top it all off at the Jamu Bar – which specialises in different concoctions of Bali’s healing elixir.

Aside from these exclusive offerings, what stands out the most is the variety of epic experiences on offer. We’re talking regenerative gardening workshops, sunrise meditation sessions, art installations, a curated culture library and Headstream – a studio, record store and digital streaming platform. Offering a fully immersive experience from beginning to end, once you check in, you might just never want to leave.

And the best part? Not only will you enjoy some epic savings when you book your stay with us, but you’ll also score over $1,000 worth of exclusive added extras. We’re talking daily cocktails, massages, an award-winning dinner, and so much more. Hurry though, this offer ends on 31 August – and you don’t want to miss out!

Are you ready to live your best life?
