There is something for everyone to enjoy in Bali, Indonesia. The island is full of fun activities that the whole family should love. Below are some must-see spots to explore during your next trip.

For Beach Fans

Unsurprisingly, Bali is full of beautiful beaches. You can even borrow horses and ride them along the ocean.

Diamond Beach on Nusa Penida Island is particularly stunning. Kuta and Jimbaran are homes to popular beaches as well. Grab a towel and sunbathe or toss a ball around in the sand with your Rawlings glove.

For Thrill-Seekers

When you think of amusement parks, Bali does not always come to min. Yet Waterbom Bali in South Kuta is one of the top water parks in Asia. The location has a reputation for good service and emphasizes cleanliness and safety. Kids will particularly enjoy the various water slides. If extreme rides are not your thing, you can relax in the Lazy River.

There are also plenty of water sports you can enjoy in Bali's rivers. There is even a wakeboard park.

For Foodies

If you want to learn more about Indonesian food, try taking a trip to Canggu. It offers a variety of options, including vegan and fusion offerings. There are delicious cakes to satisfy your sweet tooth, as well.

Then take the chocoholics in your group to the Pod Factory in Ubud. You can see the chocolate go from bean to bar in front of your eyes.

Food fans may also appreciate a visit to one of Bali's rice terraces.  Many tourists like to visit the Tegalalang Rice Terrace north of Ubud. You can take pictures of the rice paddies and enjoy the cooler temperatures due to the higher elevation. The larger Jatiluwih terrace is a bit quieter and offers views of nearby volcanoes.

Right outside the rice paddies is La View restaurant. This peaceful locale lets you enjoy a romantic meal after a long day. To really impress your beloved, try a 100-candle dinner at the Samaya.

True foodies may want to visit Bali during the annual Ubud food festival. The three-day event highlights the region's cuisine and produce.

For Animal Lovers

Bali is full of exotic animals for you to admire. The Marine and Safari Park showcases more than 100 species, including some that are endangered.

If you want to get up close to the animals, visit the Mason Elephant Park. This location lets you bathe and ride the elephants in a nearby lake. You can then watch the elephants sunbathe as you eat a buffet breakfast.

From there, head to the Monkey Forest in Ubud. You can walk through the rainforest and look the cute primates. Lovina Beach in North Bali, meanwhile, offers dolphin-watching tours.

After a fun day with the animals, end your night at the Dandelion restaurant in Canggu. You will get to experience Indonesian cuisine and cuddle with adorable rabbits.

For Nature Buffs

Bali is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Early risers can catch the sunrise in Munduk.

The city is also home to some incredible waterfalls. The Aling Aling complex, for instance, includes seven waterfalls next to each other. The Tegenungan waterfall is another great location for photos. You can even take a bath at the bottom of the fall.

The Kanto Lampo waterfalls are a scenic option, as well. This Gianyar attraction features water flowing down a rock wall. Yet the Sekumpul waterfall may be the most attractive in the city. There is even a rainbow at the bottom!

The gardeners in your life with appreciate the floral aroma of Marigold Field Forever. To get even closer to nature, consider a hike on Mount Batur in Kintamani. The region also features a giant lake and an active volcano.

There are so many great things to do in Bali that you may have trouble fitting it all into one trip. Whether you like long walks on the beach, eating unique food or watching adorable animals, your visit to Indonesia should be unforgettable.
