Bali is the place of chaotic bustle of Denpasar or the crush of Kuta and other tourist resorts. But arriving on the island, you should definitely appreciate the natural beauty.

In this article, I have collected the best and most incredible natural wonders of Bali which I explored during my vacation working for homeworkpay.net. To get to them, it may take a little more effort, because some of them are rarely visited by tourists. But the game is clearly worth the candle, because you will visit heaven on earth!

1. Relax in the secret pool of Angel’s Billabong.

Angel’s Billabong is one of the secret places of Nusa Penida.

The bottom of the "pool" is covered with a green carpet of algae, so you can safely move around it and not be afraid that you will slip.

Address: Banjar Sumpang, Desa Bunga Mekar, Nusa Penida.

How to get there: The pool is located near Pasih Uwug. A half kilometer walk from Manta Point to a nearby reef, go down along the sharp coral walls.

2. Atuh Beach, Nusa Penida.

One of the most beautiful beaches on Nusa Penida is Atuh Beach on the east coast of the island.

A magnificent white sandy crescent-shaped beach. On the left you will see the cliffs of Cape Juntil, and on the right is the island of Labuan Ampuak, with its striking rocky peaks.

This beach is especially picturesque at low tide, when the water leaves and the colorful corals are exposed, creating a bright, vibrant background for spectacular shots.

How to get there: Get to Sanur. Boats depart from Sanur several times a day to Nusa Penida. Price: from 40,000 to 350,000 rp. depending on the boat. You can also get to Nusa Penida by public ferry from Padang Bai Pier. A ticket costs 31,000 rubles. one way.

3. Peguyangan Waterfall, Nusa Penida.

Z

Peguyangan Waterfall on Nusa Penida is not vertically falling water like waterfalls in the jungle of central Bali.

This is a series of short, cascading jets that flow through a steep ravine into the sea.

Over time, streams of water formed natural baths. In them you can enjoy a "natural spa", and a light massage from the fast-flowing water.

To see the whole cascade you need to go down a narrow staircase (460 steps) along the wall of the ravine.

This waterfall is hard to find. Not all locals know his whereabouts.

To see Peguyangan and take a dip in it, you can go on an organized tour, or hire a private driver on the island who knows how to get to the waterfall.

4. High cliff on Melasti beach (Ungasan).

One of the most captivating beaches on the southern coast of Bali, about which most tourists do not know.

But photographers know about him, who take excellent pictures against the background of the picturesque high rocks here.

Please note that on the Ungasan beach, next to the Tanah Lot, an incredible waterfall appears on the cliff after rain. Water flows down to the beach and into the ocean.

5. The Blue Lagoon, Nusa Ceningan.

The crystal blue waters of Nusa Ceningan in the Blue Lagoon represent the perfect picture of a paradise island.

Most people come just to enjoy the view, but some adventurers and daredevils jump from a cliff into the water.

Just in this place, a cliff overhangs a cornice over the ocean.

You will never forget to dive into the ocean from a height of 12 meters.

Unfortunately, it should be noted that several times during a storm, waves washed off unsuspecting tourists who stood on a ledge into the ocean. Local authorities are actively opposing jumping.

The easiest way to see all the most exciting natural attractions on Nusa Penida is to book a guided tour.

Nusa Ceningan is located south of the more famous island of Nusa Lembongan. Boats from Bali regularly depart from Sanur Beach. From Lembongan you can easily find a boat that will quickly take you to Nusa Ceningan.

6. Cave on the beach of Uluwatu.

Everyone knows that Uluwatu Beach, also called Suluban Beach, is just a paradise for surfers, but in addition, there is also a natural cave, a real miracle of nature.

Uluwatu Cave is a secret and mystical place reminiscent of the movie Pirates of the Caribbean.

Located directly under Uluwatu. Actually, the path to the Uluwatu beach leads through the cave.

7. Pasih Uwug.

This unique place is also called the “Rock Broken by the Sea” or “Broken Beach”, a geological phenomenon that is one of the unique attractions on Nusa Penida.

Pasih Uwug is a natural arch created by rocks. Once this arch was a cave, but, over time, the water eroded the rock and the floor of the cave collapsed. So it turned out the arch that we see today.

Nature has created a magnificent natural pool in which you can swim, enjoying the view.

Address: Jalan Batu Nungg. Nusa Penida.
