Bali is a fantastic destination filled with something for everyone. Maybe you just want to relax in a resort or on the beach. Or perhaps you love going on adventures and taking in the wildlife and scenic views. Whatever your vacationing style may be, make sure to pack these nine handy items to use on your upcoming trip.


1. Sports Equipment

While you cannot pack an entire basketball hoop or two full-sized soccer goals, you can bring some smaller equipment to play with during your trip. Bring softball gloves and a ball to toss around. Pack a soccer ball to kick back and forth on the beach. Having equipment like this on hand gives you something to do should you have downtime or just want to burn off energy.

5. Translator

When traveling to a different country, it is always handy to have a translator. Depending on how much translating you will need done, you can get away with a cheaper option or you may need to invest in a more expensive alternative.

Even if you plan on doing laundry at your destination, chances are you will have some dirty items at the end of your trip. Pack a laundry bag so you have something to separate your dirty clothes from your clean ones. This can also be used to contain dirty shoes or other items you do not want exposed to your clean clothes.

Board and card games are a fantastic way to have fun without spending money. Lay out a blanket and play a game on the beach. Bring a deck of cards to the bar while you enjoy a couple drinks. Enjoy a lazy night in your hotel room by ordering in and playing a few games. 


8. Medicine

While you hope to be in perfect health during your vacation, life is unpredictable. It is best to be prepared in case a headache, stomach ache, congestion or another common ailment hits you or your travel companions. Use a makeup back or plastic baggie to pack a few medicinal essentials should anyone fall ill. 


9. Dryer Sheets

Drying sheets are a fantastic way to freshen up your room. Simply place one by your air conditioner to refresh the air coming into your room. Plus, dryer sheets are useful for stinky shoes. If you have been in your sneakers all day, leave a dryer sheet in each shoe to refresh them.
